About Laboperator

German engineering connecting labs worldwide.

Founded in 2015, Laboperator was created to connect laboratory instruments, data and workflows within a single digital environment. The platform is used in the life sciences sectorto streamline operations, support compliance and integrate diverse laboratory systems.

Now part of Xavo R&D GmbH/Inc., Laboperator continues its development through Laboperator GmbH, with a focus on advancing digital laboratory infrastructure and supportingscientific teams worldwide.

The company combines European expertise with German engineering roots to help laboratories operate more efficiently across borders.

LABFORWARD'S HISTORY

Our milestones.

2024

Labforward merges with Labtwin.

2023

Labforward unifies its products on a single technology platform and gets ISO27001 certified. Labtwin partners with LIMS Wizards as North American distributor.

2022

Labforward expands into regulated environments and has completed ISO9001 certifications. Labtwin expands into Food & Beverage market.

2021

Labregister is launched. The Connectivity Space in Berlin is created as a demo lab, event and collaboration space. Labtwin expands into Chemical industry market.

2019

Labfolder and cubuslab merge to become Labforward. cubuslab becomes the Laboperator product. Labtwin gets its first enterprise client.

2018

Labfolder and cubuslab meet for the first time at the Merk Accelerator program. Labfolder and cubuslab expand into US & Asian markets. Labtwin is founded by Sartorius and BCG DV.

2017

cubuslab now connects more than 100 lab devices, working with the big players of the German chemical industry. Labfolder is used at Charité.

2015

cubuslab (now Laboperator) is officially founded to develop a platform for device integration.

2013

Labfolder is founded with seed funding from Vogel Ventures, the IBB and angel investors.
